Sadly, last march I tried to keep an ant colony. (GAN project) but I think it died during hibernation. However, I'm ready to try again! I believe that I have an Omninest small. (I'm on vacation in another country rn) and I plan to start as soon as I get back. I need to find a way to clean the omninest and test tubes.
I'd appreciate any advice anyone has!
EDIT: I think they died because mold was growing in the setup and they refused to move out. I posted another thread asking how to move ants out quickly.
What's the best way to clean ant equipment?

I think just try to rinse out the parts you can take apart with some water and maybe a bit of soap. Just try to make sure you rinse out the soap very well. Don't use antibacterial, it's useless.
