Hi i was wondering if any one could give me advise on building i formicarium with good ventilation? i recently made a grout nest but when ever i add water it becomes impossible to see because of all the fog please help me out if you can

From what I've seen is that some people leave their outworld uncovered and mix talcum power with alcohol that they then apply to create a barrier. It is very slippery and makes it very difficult for ants to climb through. Depending on the style of nest you have you might be able to do the same thing.
