3D Printer Filament Type?

I own a few 3D printers and after seeing AC's 3D printed formicariums, I'm excited to try some designs of my own. Has anyone done any research into what is the safest plastic for ants? I suspect PLA is probably best since its typically made from corn. However, I typically print with PETG due to its exceptional properties. Anyone know if PETG is safe for ants?

Thanks!

Ian

PETG should be fine for ants. PETG is considered food safe in most cases which for most plastic and rubber products, in general, is the rule I use for ant safety.
