Possible stackable nest design?

So..
given that I can't seem to control myself with getting multiple colonies, pretty soon as they start growing I'm going to run out of desk space to keep them.
I need to expand upwards!
Been tinkering (pardon the pun) in TinkerCAD for an hour or some and come up with this.
Thoughts?
The bottom layer has a hole in the side for tubing to connect into my existing setups.
Each layer has a slot on the front for a 1mm sheet of acrylic.
Each layer has a ramp up to the next.
There's a hydration chamber on the left with a 1mm x 1mm grid to allow moisture through.
Each layer can be clipped together (hopefully)
The whole thing (each layer) is about 60mm x 30mm x 13mm

the front is open for an acrylic sheet, there isn't anywhere in the nest they can hide away :)

The blue (or black in the last photo) bit on the sides should hopefully clip in and hold the nests together, I may need to adjust that though
