Greetings, I have come with a question. When building vivariums, how big should it be? Ten gallons, twenty?

Also, how would one create a vivearium for trachymyrmex, or leaf cutter ants? Would I need to found the colony in a vivearium or move the fungus once they are mature? Also would this even be possible due to fungus sensitivity?

Too add, what species do you think would look cool in a vivarium?(Two votes per person)

I'm not sure but I would guess the camponodus colony wouldn't like the humidity. ^^'
Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.

Well, true. I would probably add a very small pool of water, as trachymyrmex also aren’t fans of fickle humditity.

It is very hard to get my invicta to not attempt to sucide in honey. If I don’t give them much, I end up refreshing it every 30 minutes lol

I think that's why people make testtubes with water mixed with honey or sugar. And I always thought people are just too lazy to give them honey every so often. xD

True, I have nectar feeds but try to spice it up every now and then
