Hello,
beginner ant farmer here. I recently purchased a fertile meat ant queen to start my own farm and she came with one worker. It has been three weeks and neither the single worker nor Queen have left the test tube. For food I place a dead fly outside of the tube and for water next to it I place a wet cotton ball. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Any advice?
Thanks,
Ant newbie

Try feeding them inside the test tube.Antnoob12 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 6:30 pmHello,

Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
