1.1 Clemmys guttata (NA spotted turtles) one long term captive female (25 years) and one male from her last clutch (20 years). I used to breed these until a bear broke into the pen and took the breeding male and 7 juviniles.

I have a cockapoo puppy, and a beta fish. I plan on getting a tarantula soon though, as well as breed preying mantises for fun. (not to mention my brand new Lasius noeniger queen!) I will also probably breed crickets as well to feed all my other bug like pets.

Neat that you have a tarantula! Is the kind that you have handleable? I'm interested in getting like a rose hair tarantula in a while. What has your experience been like with T's?

Mantises are really easy to keep, and extremely low maintainence. Spiny flower mantises in particular, are very pretty, and very cool. I have an adult female. I am hoping on breeding them soon. They also don't need very large cages.
