Hello guys !
I've always noticed pharaoh ants in my garden under the stones .
Do you have any idea how I could capture a queen of this species?
My colonies :
lasius niger x3
formica cunicularia
tetramorium sp x2
myrmica sp (founding)

My dream species -- Polyergus rufescens

Wait until nuptial flight is your best bet! Or look at GAN farmers in your area and see if they are selling. :)
Hi I'm Jack, How are you?

If your really desperate you can take a shovel and a five gallon bucket and dig up the colony and put it in the five gallon bucket and search for the queen that way it's really hard and time consuming and a little mean

No, that's the worst possible thing you could do. Not only could you kill her in the process, but you'll destroy the colony and their home.

'A little mean' lmao.
