Hey guys. I would like to know what your dream ant species is. I just recently caught my dream ant, the Big Headed ant. I love them! I just think they're so interesting! So tell me what is yours!!! :D

mine here in Philippines. I always see this long trail of ants with small workers and Big headed Majors. And I tell to my self that I want that one. Thats my dream colony. I do not know the species that time. And recently I caught one. Yes! Dream came True! So I post a picture of it and ask for ID. And I finally knew what it is. Its Carebara Diversa! What a cool Name

Carebara Diversa, or Pheidologeton Diversus (its old name) and im getting them soon!

Congrats! My dream colony is a lasius interjectus colony. I just caught three queens so hopefully at least one of them will have a successful colony! :D

My dream ant is Camponotus gigas hands down :D

Mine is the Myrmecocystus mexicanus or Paraponera clavata. The Honey Pot Ant or the Bullet Ant.

I caught a few queens last year but totally failed, waiting for their flights and does not look like they will even fly this year- Acromyrmex versicolor. :geek:

mine would be Pheidole pallidula because they hve big bad soilders.............but being in uk need pratice at our native species first
