Queen Ant caught in Malta

I caught a queen ant in a bottle (I didn't have anything else to catch it in). I don't really have time or space to keep a colony at the moment. If anyone else is in Malta and wants a queen, let me know. I'm not sure what species it is but there were a bunch of these girls this morning. The one I caught has only 1 wing, I'm not really sure what this could mean.
