Like 4 different accounts over the span of a few hours and its a nightmare to get through it all, how often does this happen???

First time since I've become a moderator. There were smaller waves but this one is truely massive. Doing what I can without deleting *** SPAM *** accounts so I can ban them later when I got some more time.

Is it just me or did the spam bots kind of stop? Haven't seen any spam lately and I made a change that disallowed newly registered users to have full access and ignore the spam limits etc. while registered users had standard access. Could be that this has solved a lot of spam now. But I do hope I haven't jinxed it now. xD

What do you guys think?
