How did it die?
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]

Oh the colony is still in the mail. It shipped from Africa December 1st but it said it would arrive Christmas Eve. It has not moved from Africa since it was shipped.
I am sure they are already dead. Plus when they get to New York or USA they will die of coldness and lack of water and food. I would bet 100 bucks that when they get to USA the water will freeze. So it is just the grim reaper all around them. There is below 0000% chance they will get here alive.
Kinda sad.

If it was not the holidays or it was not COVID it would have probably arrived on time and it would just get here straight away and I would not have to worry about coldness or anything like that.

This is another example why you should not ship ants by mail.
