I've been looking at this formicarium and I only have one question: for larger species such as Pogonomyrmex (who have poorer climbing skills) should they still be able to easily navigate up and down the sides? I noticed the diagonal design of the glass leading to the upper levels and was just wondering if this might present a problem.

Most Pogonomyrmex species do not do well in glass/acrylic/plastic setups at all. :?

Where did you find this information? Or do you speak from personal experience?

Mostly personal experience and that of the experience of friends. If you are going to get an AntsCanada product for Pogonomyrmex, get the Hybrid Nest designed for them and use some substrate like sand.

Thanks for the help, Greg. I'm still a newbie at this. :)
