Memes have corrupted my brain lol. Plus in California people say dude a lot.
I'll belive it lol. And I'm not criticizing you, I'm just messing around. And since you live in california, be on the lookout for Formica ravida, Google it. It's a super cool ant, and I managed to find it.
I went out yesterday to find queens in this cool place where the Argentine ants haven't been to yet in the Bay. I saw a Formica ravida mound with tons of workers in like 10 minutes completely on accident. They were everywhere I went. It was like a Formica ravida heaven. I only found 1 Carpenter ant queen in the time I was there for 2 hours. It got away though lol.
Daaaang nice! No queens tho?! :(. I've found two.

They didn't spray me. Put they sprayed the stick I was holding and they bit it aggressively. They were pretty aggressive.

Dang. I'm hoping one of mine is fertile. No eggs yet, they have pupae with more than 5 enclosed pupae. But then like 7 more still in the cocoon. Do you know if they wait to lay eggs until all have hatched?

I have no clue. It would be so cool to have a colony of them though.

Yeah! I wished I lived in Cali and not ND, cause like the beaches in CA, and they have formica ravida there too. Aaaand go riding on sand dunes with my jeep... ect. And if both queens were fertile, I'd give you one lol.
