I'll belive it lol. And I'm not criticizing you, I'm just messing around. And since you live in california, be on the lookout for Formica ravida, Google it. It's a super cool ant, and I managed to find it.

I went out yesterday to find queens in this cool place where the Argentine ants haven't been to yet in the Bay. I saw a Formica ravida mound with tons of workers in like 10 minutes completely on accident. They were everywhere I went. It was like a Formica ravida heaven. I only found 1 Carpenter ant queen in the time I was there for 2 hours. It got away though lol.

Where is this?? All I have ever seen in the bay area are fire ants, argentine, tetramorium, and some sort of lasius or odorous house ant.
