We'll also need a location and measurement for an ID request.

Looks like a fire ant queen to me!
Solenopsis sp.
Probably geminata or invicta, however There is no way we can determine for sure the species if we dont now how big is she and where it was found...

UPDATE - just had a bad thunderstorm these past two days horrible flooding around my whole street this a newly built land only about 20 houses built so far so we have about 2 Acres worth of land that is already prepted and waiting for housing to be built and is just bare dirt land with streets I'll add a picture so you can get and idea of what environment I'm talking about the location is Harlingen, Texas more in a country side where the new neighborhood is being built these ants were each caught separately Wondering alone but seem to be the same species since they are all huddling together without fighting in the same jar they are very big compared to the normal ants I see around these parts normally.

Re: is it a queen?
Sooo you identified the ant species for me from the three photos I provided but does that mean it is a normal ant I was hoping these were queens because I found each of them by themselves. Also they all seem to be sleeping alot? And I actually mean sleeping they lay down and try to huddle together and if I move the jar or anything they get startled and walk around.
