Definitely not Tetramorium, but I think you have a camponotus queen!
Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

What makes you think that one of those queens is Camp. nova? On the contrary, I believe that the queen you just found is Camp. Nova. Your other queens definitely arent.Wardword wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 3:54 pmI guess the hunt continues

One of them is dark brown, someone here told me the brown one was Nova, the more shiny very black one was Pen.idahoantgirl wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 6:07 pmWhat makes you think that one of those queens is Camp. nova? Camponotus, but without a measurement, it's pretty hard to narrow down further.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.

Also Tetramorium Species E is now known as Tetramorium immigrans in the US, while in Europe it is known as Tetramorium Casepitum.
