Camponotus sansabeanus queen
How long duz it take for a Camponotus sansabeanus queen to lay eggs I've had her almost for a month:/ she has gotten huge but still no eggs:/
Re: Camponotus sansabeanus queen
I know that it can take longer for some species to lay their first brood, but as long as you keep her in the dark and check on her once a week, she should be an egg laying machine in no time (especially after their first year). I love camponotus, one of my favorite species. They are just so interesting! Good luck!!!
OH! And make sure to to leave her alone in the dark for the first ten days. It helps big time!
