Camponotus sansabeanus queen

How long duz it take for a Camponotus sansabeanus queen to lay eggs I've had her almost for a month:/ she has gotten huge but still no eggs:/

I know that it can take longer for some species to lay their first brood, but as long as you keep her in the dark and check on her once a week, she should be an egg laying machine in no time (especially after their first year). I love camponotus, one of my favorite species. They are just so interesting! Good luck!!! :D
OH! And make sure to to leave her alone in the dark for the first ten days. It helps big time!
