I'm still looking for queens, anybody know if any nuptial flights happening in central Florida?
Also it's been raining for 10 days probably 5 more days. When to expect the next flights????? Any ideas?

Just look the days after it stops raining. There is no way to tell when the ants are going to fly. One day you'll find none, and the next you will find many! Don't give up.

some times you have to look for some time others (like camponotus) you might step find when you are not even looking

I find most of my queens when I'm not even looking.

Yes I have killed some camponotus queens already. Slapped them in the dark. My auto reaction to something moving in the dark. Can never find them during the day or when I want to
