Your opinion needed

Hey guys so I have this very large ant nest up my drive way with queens all over it ready for nuptial flight and I want to grab a few in your opinion how do you think I should do this? Right off the top and get bit a bunch. Put down a glass jar and hope one gets in there ( if I do that is it ok to have workers with her? )also these ants have ant highways through the forest which connects to more large colonies maybe just sit and watch the highways for a queen or would the queen even walk those paths? I really don't want to get bit I don't know how my body will react.
Any help is greatly appreciated :)

The queens in your driveway's colony are not fertilized. Catching these queens would not accomplish anything. Mated queens never leave the nest unless it is destroyed and it is very necessary for them to move do a different nest. You need to wait for nuptial flights. If you see a queen with or without wings walking on the ground that is not obviously connected to a colony, catch it. she may be fertile. Most queens don't sting so don't worry about that.
Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
