Hello, i have a queen who has been identified to be a Pheidole Spp. So i put her away in a test tube. I check on her a few days later and she took off her wings, but she appears to have ripped them into pieces scattered all over the test tube. Is this normal for a queen to do ,since the others i have seem to have just placed them away from where they lay eggs.
Thanks for the help

Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
