I have now tried taking a picture of the same species of ant queen that I found. Unfortunately this one I found dead , but it is the same species. Please try to identify it , I am hopeless by nowThe queens are 5 milimetres in length.
My last try at this with a camera. Please try to help me.

I have this species too! I found her today and I'm pretty sure it's the same species (not 100% sure though).
Edit: where did you find her?

Sorry, I don't think there's a chance at identifying this queen to the species without examination by hand, although I am reasonably sure this is Tetramorium sp. It would be easier if there weren't 73 species to sort her from.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
