Hello guys... i need help with my formica sp. as you can see this is not a typical way to transfer your colony to a formicarium or even a different setup.. but this is an emergency for my tubes started to grow molds and the water from the test tube is running low so i thought putting them in a temporary natural nest is better.. is there anything i can do to make the situation better?

thanks in advance

Umm... ok, firstly, there wasn't a lot of mold in there. This wasn't an emergency situation. Also how do you plan on moving them out of the dirt? that seems to be really difficult. Did you check and make sure the dirt doesn't have pesticide in it? It would have been better to have just moved them into another tube.

I see.. since this is my first time seeing molds i thought having molds is that bad already.. so not much mold is still considerably okay. and yes, i did check it out. and i tried doing the tube-tube transfer but they just move back and forth.
