Moving ants out of a natural setup

What ways would you guys recommend moving ants from a natural setup where they dug tunnels?

I'm a first time ant-carer and especially have no experience and knowledge whatsoever with Pheidole, so I probably won't be of any help but, where were you wanting to move them to?

One of my queens (she's a Camponotus) just moved out of her test tube and made home under a piece of wood in her foraging area. It kind of sucks because now we can't watch her but we've decided to just leave her be.
