queen identification?
I found her in Nova Scotia, canada (in my driveway) I have lots of woods near my home, but in still in the suburbs
she is very beautiful and has a red thorax
I didn't get a measurement but I'd say she is about 1/2 inch

Provide a clean tube and don't feed her until her first workers. If you must giver her a snack once or twice along the way, provide it on a tray made from cut tubing or foil.
