Please help identify my first Queens!
Got some queens with my son in our area. We just started our project, so as newbies it is hard for us to identify them.. We live In Sacramento, CA. So far we already have two ladies laying eggs, not bad I think for a week. Tube #3 and #5 got eggs. #5 we just found yesterday. Sorry pics are not in very good quality. Thank for any help!
Here is OneDrive link to the pictures.

We will need more specific images, but I think some* of these queens are *camponotus*
Hi I'm Jack, How are you?
Re: Please help identify my first Queens!
Thanks.
Please let me know what specific you wanna see.
I see that there at least 3 different species. For #5 I even thought that she is just worker or male may be.. near he were running some very small ants like 1-2 mm .. and she is very small compare to others queens...
now it is night time here.. do not know if I want to bother at least them... ))
Re: Please help identify my first Queens!
I reckon everyone would like specific photos for all of the queens, but I'd wait until some more experienced keepers comment.madstermd wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2017 1:31 amThanks.

This should have gone in the ID section, where you might have seen that ID requests require measurements to accompany the location and several photographs from different angles. I can say that 4, 6 ,7 ,8, and 10 are all workers. There is no image for tube 9.
If you enjoy my expertise and identifications, please do not put wild populations at risk of disease by releasing pet colonies. We are responsible to give our pets the best care we can manage for the rest of their lives.
Re: Please help identify my first Queens!
It looks like tube #4 isn't a queen to me it looks like a camponotus worker.
