About how long will it take for my RIFA colony to get majors?

More like a couple of hundred or more. To raise a "Major" or larger fire ant pupa it takes a lot of food, energy, and time compared to their smaller sisters. The colony has to be well established to the point that they can dedicate the resources to raising the majors.
