I am going to start with an apology. i did not get a picture of this ant, but ill try to be discribe it well. while looking for a Camponotus queen, i ran across another wood Dweller. it many ways it reminded me of a Camponotus ant, with a black Head, Black gaster and a red thorax. but the Feature that really set this any apart from the Camponotus in my area is its size. the workers where really small, no more then 2mm. does anyone have any ideas?

Look up Crematogaster, see if that matches.
