How Do I Post Pictures?

Yeah, this is a noob question but I read the directions on the FAQ and I still don't understand how to post pictures without having to link them from another website. When I tried attaching files they just disappeared when I tried posting. Please help.

You need to host your photo on a photo sharing site such as Imgur and then use the bbcode link provided in order to paste here.

I tried doing that, and at the top of my post it said in big, red letters "You cannot use certain BBCodes: [url]."

Couple questions so I can try to troubleshoot this for you as I have never had an issue with sharing images using this method. Did you use Imgur or some other sharing site? Did you select BBCode or linked BBCode?
Try taking the direct link address (the one with .jpg) and putting it in between a pair of brackets like this [ ]image address example .jpg [ ] put IMG in the first bracket and /IMG in the second one with no spaces. You will notice this is the same as the BBCode link but sometimes when I am on my phone it wont let me copy the BBCode and I have to do it manually. Let me know if that works for you.

I guess I was using linked BBCode since I tried it again with normal BBCode and it worked
