Found a ant queen today(or so I think I have) and it seems she was being attacked by some black ants. When I approached her, te other ants scattered. I put her in a vial and I noticed she had a dead ant atttatched to her. She seems to really be annoyed by it, and can't seem to get it off. Should I be doing something?
Also her leg seems to be broken, should I release her back into the wild?
If you look towards the bottom you can see the black ant attached to her.
Help!!!!!

Re: Help!!!!!
Edit! The queen has not broken her leg, the ant is attached to the leg. Making it seem like it was broken.

Re: Help!!!!!
sorry, but I'm pretty sure this is not a queen.
Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

Re: Help!!!!!
In a way that's a relief. I wasn't planning on keeping a fire ant colony. Thanks!
