Someone else will inevitably reply this so I'll say it, Sale/Purchase of ants is not supported on the forum, it is only on the GAN page that you can make inquiries to buy/sell ants.

I'm new to ant keeping so my colonies are all still in test tubes. :?

This posting was fine. This user didn't ask to buy ants straight out, they asked about a GAN Farmer in Alabama which is just fine.

As far as finding a GAN Farmer in AL, best bet is to check the AntsCanada Queen Ants for sale on the AntsCanada main website. Here is the link below, also they are trying to keep the list of GAN Farmers up to date as best as they can.

Hello, thanks everybody for the reply, I'm out trying to find out if there is a GAN farmer anywhere in Alabama, whether they ha e ants or not. I did look in the GAN page and there is no on currently listed. I understand that this will change as people catch ants. I was was just trying to put a feeler out there to hopefully link in with someon, even if they don't have ants listed on GAN right now. Thanks again for the info and let me know if you know anyone.

I actually live in Alabama and I've been keeping track of my local Carpenter Ants in Wetumpka, Alabama in "Gold Star Park" by the river. Very interesting species, and they are big enough to observe with the ***** eye. Would love to have help in hopes of getting some Queens as it's ripe for Nuptial Flight Season.
