Wild caught colonies for fan project

Hey everyone
I have had loads of success catching wild colonies and none raising a colony from a queen
So I was wandering if u could catch wild colonies, keep them for a week or 2 to make sure they adjust to captivity and have a healthy brood pile? Please reply

2x Pheidole sp. Colonies
1 Monomorium queen (soon to be colony)
2 Hyponera queens
1 Cardiocondya queen

The one I have kept since Christmas
(Lepisiota capenensis)

Th others did not have a queen so I released them at the catch site
Carpenter and harvester ants
Keeping.

I have recently caught a wild colony, with queen and roughly 20-25 workers or so. I've had them now for lil over a week and seem to be doing great.
Keeping:
Camponotus castaneus
Camponotus subbarbatus
Camponotus pennsylvanicus x3
Crematogaster cerasi x2
Formica pallidefulva x3
Formica subsericea x3
Pheidole sp. x4
Tapinoma sessile
Tetramorium caspitum x2
