Re: Ant Watch Western Washington
I would love to, but only if they will be kept in Western Washington! I am a firm believer in not letting them to not native areas! There are quite a few species that live in western WA but not in eastern WA.

I have yet to see any queens. The nights are still pretty cold up here. I am heading out to Sol Duc hope to see some activity.

Just to let you know, this forum doesn't allow the trading selling, or distribution of ants outside of the gan project

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

Still no queens. Looking at the projected weather, it wont be steadily above 60 until May. Hopefully the forecast is wrong and we get a heatwave!

So Cherrie I live out past Maple Valley and when it warms up we get lots of camponotis, I will let you know when they start coming out. I stopped collecting queens last year because I didn't think I could care and or sell that many. Only one of my queens wasn't fertal and I have 12 queens now with workers and brood.
That is if you interested in camponotis to keep.
