Bay area lasius??

Does anyone know if lasius neoniger is found in CA bay area? I was hoping to get some last minute queens...

These lasius are native to CA accoreding to antmaps.org :D

AntsCanada said that Lasius queens usually don't start laying eggs until after hibernation. But we don't have to worry about that since Bay Area queens don't hibernate lol.

Yeah, true. So sad I missed the flight. Have you ever seen a neoniger worker around here? I think I saw one yesterday but I'm not 100 percent sure that it was neoniger.
