Solenopsis nuptial flight in Alabama

So I'm at work and step out to smoke a cigarette and I look down and see a Solenopsis Queen running around looking for a place to dig a brooding chamber! I went in and grabbed a container and proceeded to catch 22 Queens in less then 10mins! A good day with out even trying!

Temp: 80*F
Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Time: 3:00PM
Rained last night and been raining off and on all day.

Dang...my Solenopsis richteri queen passed away on me last night. I noticed something was wrong with her from how she was acting but I couldn't figure it out. Maybe and hopefully I can find another S. richteri or S. invicta this year....so to anyone in TN, plz contact me if you have any plz!!!
