Queen Expedition
Gonna start writing down my queen expeditions cause it's pretty interesting. I went to a place where Brian L. Fisher told me to go to in the Bay Area to look for queens. I saw tons of cool ants that I've never seen in the suburbs like Camponotus sp, Formica ravida, some huge red ants, etc. I saw what I thought was a Tetramorium caespitum queen, turned out to be a male. Then I actually found a HUGE Camponotus queen. I tried putting her in the test tube, but she was so fast. She disappeared into the grass. I've never even seen a wild queen before, and when I finally did, she dissapeared. This all happened when it was time to leave, so I had to go right after my failed attempt. I'm going back tomorrow to see if I can actually find anything again. If I find any queens I'll sell them all on the GAN project.

Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.
