Question about Nuptial flight and Drought

Hello!

I live in a very hot area with temperatures reaching 120 degrees F. It hasn't rained in months and I'm wondering if nuptial flights would still occur. Its monsoon season now but it still has yet to rain so I've been discouraged to look for more queens. There are many colonies in my area and I'm wondering if they will fly at all if it isn't raining. I'm gonna search the day after a big monsoon but until then I don't know what to do. I have a few colonies but only one has really gotten off the ground with 15 or so workers. My other queens have stopped laying all together and I'm wondering why this could be. Any advice on when you prefer queen hunting in the summer would be great. Cause since it's heated up I haven't seen anything. Thanks AC.
