Anyone in Malaysia had any luck recently? Been finding nothing, except for dead males.

Just found a dead queen dealate of Oecophylla smaragdina, are they still flying in October?
I'm always wondering if "can I catch this species?" when is the best time to go looking for them?

Haven't found any speck of ants anywhere. Pretty confident, that I've somehow missed their big nuptial flights.
Though after digging through another forum, I managed to compile a small list of all the possible queen sightings; the species listed, are present here in Malaysia. Bear in mind, this compilation is by no means accurate, and the months may vary.
