Just found a dead queen dealate of Oecophylla smaragdina, are they still flying in October? I'm always wondering if "can I catch this species?" when is the best time to go looking for them?

I found that Pheidole parva don’t have schedules and instead fly year round but especially during March to June and the only ants that I happen to find are Pheidole parva

Thank you! This is so helpful!Phoenix wrote: ↑Wed Mar 15, 2017 10:40 amHaven't found any speck of ants anywhere. Pretty confident, that I've somehow missed their big nuptial flights.
Though after digging through another forum, I managed to compile a small list of all the possible queen sightings; the species listed, are present here in Malaysia. Bear in mind, this compilation is by no means accurate, and the months may vary.
