I stay middle Tennessee and haven't seen any Queen yet but my eyes are open

Rather than start a new thread I figured I'd add to this one. I've had a lot of luck finding Canponotus chromaiodes in the Memphis area (I just applied for GAN so hopefully soon I'll have my queens for sale!), especially in the wooded areas. I also know there are some colonies on the University of Memphis campus that have been flying--red ants, most likely Camponotus castaneus. I mostly saw drones but I've found one red queen so far!
