Yeah - a couple weeks ago I saw a lot of alate brood under rocks that had tetramorium so I bet we can expect their flights in the next few weeks.
Pennsylvanicus are still flying - I found one in my parents pool yesterday. (85 degrees and rained the day before).

Nice, all I've found recently are males.

Just now found 2 queens that I believe are Tetramorium caespitum, they were in my garage, but more might be flying in the area. Good luck!

C.Pennsylvanicus are flying in SE Michigan
Saw about 15 alates taking of at a Putt Putt Golf course, seemed that they were all queens. A awesome experience for a novice ant keeper, the only one who was enjoying that more than me was the Birds
It was 80°F+ today and rained yesterday.

I don't know about the Lasius; I only found a dead dealate. The Tetramorium are flying throughout the morning. I also found a lone Camponotus male last night.

I found a queen about 2 weeks ago crawling on my desk, surprisingly! She is extremely small, half the size of my other colonies aphaenogaster workers. Today I checked on her and she laid her first 2 eggs. So this is going to be an interesting colony to keep as I think they can escape my extra omni nest I have.
