Has anyone seen any Trachymyrmex Septentrionales ants in northern Kentucky? They're the northernmost fungus growing ant, with some even spotted in New York, but they're small and rare. I've been looking around for queens as they're supposed to be flying from May to September, but I haven't seen anything.

I caught a Camponotus P. on the 24th. I checked on her today and she's laid 5 eggs. Will post pics soon.

I found a Camponotus queen on the 27th of May, and it laid eggs. I was wondering if they are still flying so I can catch more?

I captured 2 Camponotus queens. The first on 5/29 and the second on 6/1. The first queen was infected with some kind of maggots but the second queen is alive and well with 7 eggs.

Tetramorium queens are flying everywhere in Jasper, Indiana at the moment. I went out this morning at 6:00 am and caught 16 tetramorium queens, but there were loads more than that even! Keep an eye out for them!

Found a tetramorium alate in a pool today in the Chicago suburbs. Hoping they will be flying tomorrow!
