Went hunting for about an hour, 9:30 to 10:30. Found nothing special so far besides workers of a species with curved abdomens which may have had acid at the ready since many were holding them up like a cat's tail.

well today started off a little bit cold, I hope that won't affect whether they will fly or not...

Went looking again. Still no luck. I did see some ants digging up their nests though, and they seemed to be building them wide.

More rain. Probably not gonna be any flights today.

Forecast isn't great for Indiana. it's doubtful we'll e seeing any more queens.

I am happy to report that I have caught two lasius queens and a ponera queen.
