If they fly around 5:00 am what time would you go looking for them?
Re: Pennsylvania and Nearby Locations Nuptial Flight Sightings Thread
Search in the morning, it does not have to be 5:00 AM just like 9:00-10:00 AM I just took around 30 queens from my pool. I did not keep them because I have to many. They flew in the morning and still survived until 4:00 PMKvnRepublic wrote:If they fly around 5:00 am what time would you go looking for them?

I can confirm this as true! This am around 530 I went out and bam! Tons of them flying and all queens, didn't see one male. Im sure they were still flying and mating as the queens were falling from the sky like rain drops : )AntsRule wrote:Tetramorium sp. E are super abundant this time of year. I can catch 30 a day in 5 minutes time because they get trapped in my pool. I highly suggest checking pools and bodies of water. They fly early morning around 5:00 AM. I am in Chester County (north eastern PA)Newbie wrote:Ok guy I'm really new,to this but I'm having a really hard time finding a queen . Is anyone near Schuylkill county pa

Today looks great for flights! I just hope it is not only a tertamorium because I have so many. 86 degrees and it rained pretty heavily yesterday. I wish all or you luck!
