I think I caught one of those too but I'm not sure. I would share pics but my camera is awful.

I've been DYING to find Camponotus queens. What kind of area did you find them in? I have tons of Camponotus ants in my back garden, but haven't seen any queens about yet.

Campos fly at dusk and dawn mainly. I find them by flipping rocks, peeling tree bark, and breaking open old rotten logs with a screw driver. They like damp, humid hiding places.

I live in Hershey and found another one today under some planters. If you really want some I would be happy to give it for like a 5 dollars if you bring your own test tube setup. Be careful though one escaped from my test tube setup and I had to find it afterword.MrThrasher wrote: ↑Mon May 07, 2018 7:53 pmCampos fly at dusk and dawn mainly. Also, anyone got prenoplis imparis I have one queen and would like to have a double queen colony. Doesn't matter if it layed eggs or not. Will pay money or trade for some of my camponotus queens. All caught in PA.
