Hi Ant Lovers,

It's Monday, which means a new AC video. Because we tend to get a lot of emails asking how to tell if an ant is a queen, I finally created a step by step video about how to identify queen ants. I also show you what the queens of some commonly kept species look like! Hope you guys find this week's video helpful:

PS - Ant keeping is like Pokemon Go!

It does not even surprise me anymore when everyone one of your videos is totally 110% completely flawless and extremely helpful. You answered ALL my questions about camponotus spp. which I have quite a few queens of. (two of which have workers!)LOVE the Alexwild pics! :D THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! IT MEANS A TON! I have already gotten two of my friends into the hobby and supplied them with there first queens. :D
With all the things ants can do, you wonder, who rules the planet :?

Awesome! Super happy this is helping you out. I'm an ant keeper, inside and out, exactly you so I know exactly what goes through an ant keeper's mind when first trying out a new species of ants. I know when I was new to Camponotus I had so many questions!
