I saw a tetramorium queen today I wasn't able to catch, bummed me out. But keep your test tubes and vials on you!

So went hunting for queen up hear all day almost and nothing think it git a little to cold with the rain did find a huge carpenter ant nest about the length of half a basketball court had 5 or 6 entrances it is Goliath has to have multiple queens or is a bunch of nests in one spot that nest was supper active but other nest were very sluggish

I think the tempature went up for a few days and then there were a few nuptial flights. The ant colony outside my house has widen their entrance! Those in the Phoenix area should be on the look out. Nuptial flight is about to begin!
