I caught my first Camponotus queen this year mid May, right now she has 20+ workers. Everything go smoothly with this queen I caught, recently I saw a huge pupae in the nest, it is much larger than the rest of the pupaes, so I believe it will be a major. Sure enough, my first major enclose this morning. Although she seem quite small as compare to the one I saw in the wild, but I guess it is because this is the very first major they have, soon they will have a larger major.
