Hibernation is comming
Hi every one !
I'm just a bit worried about hibernation.
My ants are in the test tube and seems to slow down their activity and they don't move a lot now. The water portion of the test will be finish soon. I have to put the ants on a new test tube for winter.
How can i change the test tube if my ants don't move ?
Another question, can i hibernate the larva that still in developpement ?
Thankk's

I just made the same that is describe on the video. Put the test tube colony under light and the new test tube cover with paper to simulate a dark room. The 2 test tubes are connected.GriffinAnt wrote:yes its on thereasgarpet wrote:GriffinAnt wrote:there is a vid to show you how to change tube setups, ive done it it works.

The ants still in the initial test tube and don't seems to want to move.

Re: Hibernation is comming
boom. the best way to deal with them being slow to move.... forget about them for a little while. then they decide to move. lol kinda like grass, it grows when you arent looking.
