Hey there, when i went to check on my ants in my formicarium, i saw spider silk over some parts of the attributes. I looked around to find the spider but couldn't find it, and wasn't worried because the formicarium is new and though maybe i didn't notice that when i put it together. But today i saw a small spider hiding in a corner (about 2 times a super major). I got a little worried because my ant colony isn't that big yet, like 30 workers. Is that spider a danger to my colony or can i just leave it be?
I couldn't even find on the internet if spiders eat ants, i hope they don't, because then the spider will die and my ants will find it eventually.

Hi,
The spider can eat some of the ants that get caught on its web.
If i were you i would probably just release the spider outside or kill it and give it to the ants, because she can and will harm your colony if given the oportunity.
Hope this helped!
